Lotte's Sculptures
Sculptures and fountains enhance the appeal of any home or garden. Original pieces of
artwork add that extra personal touch that can make a setting just a little more special.
The pieces shown at this site have been appreciated by many just to look at and some have
been on display at shows such as the Washington Flower and Garden Show, the Norfolk Flower
and Garden Show and The National Arboretum.
The artist, Lotte Dolezalek, has lectured at horticultural conferences and garden
symposia, and taught a lecture within the Smithsonian Program "Campus on the
Mall" with the title: "The Interplay of Art and Nature in the Water Garden. A
comparative analysis of their development in Western civilizations".
Lotte's garden in Virginia has also been featured in one of the "Your Home
Series" Time-Life Books "Your Home - Outdoors" about gardening and building
ponds (ISBN 0-8094-5520-X).
